"I used to think this scar marked me; the mark of the banished prince, cursed to chase the Avatar forever. But lately, I've realized I'm free to determine my own destiny, even if I'll never be free of my mark."
Uncle wasn't here today, it was odd of him not to be here in his shop. Drinking the fresh tea that he brewed and playing pai sho and winning lots. Perhaps it was another meeting with the White Lotas. He never told me when he was going to those meetings. It was supposed to be a secret society, but we had found out about them during the last night of the war. The night where so much had changed, for the better in my opinion. It was a time of rebuilding, and regaining trust.
However hard it is to gain the trust of all the other nations I did try my best. And I did use all the help that I could get, and Katara was a big help. Sokka, Toph, and of course Aang were also very big helps with this. I couldn't be where I am at now without any of them.
Nostrils flared as I took in the familiar scent of the warm tea. My harks perked forward, amber eyes enclosed in thin protective lids as I happily inhaled it. The long exhale came smoothly, and by the end of it my orbs were looking around the place.
Taking a few steps forward, my hooves clopping on the hard floor, I looked over at the tables and rugs that decorated the place. I didn't tell uncle that I would be here today, that is why he wasn't here. But perhaps he will show, and maybe even the others.
Long forelock nearly covered the large scar that surrounded the left side of my face and over the eye. I looked around, it was pretty empty here. Perhaps Katara would show with Sokka and Toph, maybe even Aang will show up. But I couldn't tell for sure if any of them would come.
I walked over to where Uncle usually sat, right where the Pai Sho table was. A smile played on my face and I nosed the pieces.
