The sun was setting high in the sky, peaking out from behind the mountains creating orange and blue hue's in the sky. My dark blue, ocean orbs darted around, taking in my surroundings. I stood there, my long, elegant body standing upright, I appeared as if I was standing on my tippy toes like a ballerina. Muscles bunched loosely together, boa arched, my arabian blood showing clearly. I took off at a walk, easing torwards the mountains to seek shelter for the night, I pushed myself upon my toes, taking long and smoothe steps. My silver, ivory, and ebony whipcord arched from atop my haunches.
Boa arched, elegant nares flaring as I took in the scents, there wasn't many, but there was some old ones. Mares and stallions, my ocean blue eyes closing a bit as I outstretched my petite head, challenging myself to seeing if I could actually walk without running into something. My hooves gripped the ground before jerking back up, I picked my hooves up with pride. The sun rippling across my glamorous coat and hooves. My lips parted as I started singing, my muscles feeling as the wind hit my coat, it spoke to me and I sung along.
La, la, la!
My soprano voice stepped up with the tone, I opened my eyes, long silver lashes stretching out across my dark blue eyes.
Take me away!
I danced a bit faster, moving with lithe steps, like a dancer. The grass swept across my light colored legs. I continued to dance, wondering where all the other horses were.

I was happy lately, things were starting to look up for the Airbenders. A smile was always playing on my dark lips everywhere I went. Joker had asked me to have a foal with him, a sigh came from my lips as I thought of dancing little foals running around the two temples. And even someday perhaps more foals would occupy the Air Temples and teaching would be flourishing. We won't ever be as big as the Earth Kingdom, no, but we never were. We were the smallest of all the races and we were fine with that.
As I walked the blue markings that stained my coat moved with ease. I had gotten these when I was in hiding and had completed my Air Bending training. I was a master now, and one of the few masters that actually lived to this day. There was only three of us, Aang the Avatar, Joker, and myself. I am the only female master, but it didn't bug me the least bit.
I caught a scent not to far from here, which was when I started to actually see where I was going. I gave my head a shake, realizing how far I had actually went from the Western Air Temple, which was in fact my home. My eyes took a gander around, looking up towards the massive trees with leaves that could easily crush me. There was tall thick grass with the darkest shade of green I had ever seen. That made me get a little hungry as I dipped my head down and ripped the blades. So easy to rip.
But then I remembered that I smelt another being. The sun was now setting, but I saw the dapple grey paint horse not to far from here. She seemed in good spirits as I approached using some sort of air ball to lift me there. When the mass of air disappeared from me I lightly touched the ground with a smile on my face and my lips already parting. "Hello, I am Vinho Verde of the Western Air Temple, who are you?" I said with happy cheery tones.

My tawny ears prick towards the faint sound of a delicate voice. Where am I? I wonder as I follow the singing at a brisk trot, ebony tail brushing my legs. I watched the evening sun set, admiring the brightly colored sky. As I got closer, I could see two light colored mares in the clearing. One was dancing, and I couldn't help but watch until she stopped. Her moves were so graceful and breathtaking. "Hello, I'm Snapple." I chirp, coming up behind Vinho Verde, chocolate eyes transfixed on Brielle. I would've liked to state where I was from, but I wasn't quite sure yet. This whole new life was so confusing, being an earth bender.

A small chirp ran from my mouth, parted lips taking in a deep breath of air. Brilliant, ocean blue orbs darted around, twinkling with high spirits. My banner flagged behind me, silky pieces of my tail fell out into the wind, shimmering beneath the sun's harmful rays. I gave a kick, landing without a thud or any noise at all. My lithe body moving graceful and catlike, harks swirved forward as I slowed to a stop, grey legs crossing one another. I kept my balance easily as I let the wind blow me a scent.
Another mare.
My shoulders rolled in a horse-type shrug, I hoped she was nice if she happened to stumble across my path. I could stop, and walk around her nicely. I kept looking around, my neat, petite ears flicking forward as the grey mare came torwards me. I slung my small head. She was pretty and the blue arrows that rolled down her body was interesting, my blue eyes were glued to them, taking in every curve and twist.
Interesting.
I wanted those arrows.
I smiled, eyes darting slowly, but liquidly to her pretty face. "Hi there. I am Brielle, of the Air Bender alliance, residing no where." I said in my beautiful, birdlike voice. Her's wasn't as sing song as mine was, I couldn't help it, my mom had been the same way. "Nice to meet you, Vinho." Intelligent bubbles left my head as I done a small dance in place. Turning to see a stallion wandering torwards us.
The sun instantly became brighter and flicked across my dapples and spots. "Nice to meet you Snapple. Of what alliance are you?" I asked, trying to start a conversation, offering him a welcoming smile with my ivory lips. I moved my elegant body torwards them.
Perhaps all of us could be friends.

A gentle breeze ruffled my spikey ebony mane and caused my tail to wave like a proud flag. My chocolate orbs graze the two mares with interest and I toss my head as the scent of lavender tickles my nose.
"The Earth Bender alliance, and you, Miss?" I question, eager to learn more about her. I speak in my charming southern accent that I picked up on before I travelled to these lands.
As I wait for a reply from Brielle, I turn my gaze to the land in the distance. Things seem to be going well everywhere...

Curved hearing devices were always perked forward. A smile was plastered on my face as I looked over this mare. She was young, still had her dapples. I had dapples once, but of course I was born nearly black, and I got more white as I got older. Now I was eleven, so I was old. But I still had many spunk left in my years. Like when I play with Joker around the air temple, it would be nice to have fun and chase other horses around besides my mate.
The mare, Brielle, is an Air bender like I thought. My heart started to beat even faster now, I was getting excited. "It is nice to meet you too Brielle!" I grinned with a flick of my tail. My dished facade turned as I noticed a buckskin stallion approaching. I turned my frame so that I was facing him and Breille.
From what I could see, and smell, he was an Earth bender. Earth benders were the opposite of Air benders, and vice versa. We were floaty and light, they were strong and hard to break. I haven't seen an Earth bender before, but I haven't seen any of the other benders either.
"Greetings Snapple." I said with a nod of my head. I really wanted to talk to Brielle, however. It wasn't often that I got to meet a young air bender that needed teaching. And seeing as how she didn't have her tattoos she needed a teacher. And I was the only female monk around. I nearly giggled out loud. I was getting more and more excited.
"I am an air bender too Brielle, I am a master which is why I have these blue arrows on my face, back, and legs. Did you want to live at the Western Air Temple and be my student?" I asked her, unable to hide any of the excitement that I was feeling.

What a great day! I thought as a large grin snuck it's way upon my lips. Delicate harks were swooped forward, so was the other mare's. She was older than me, I was sure of it, her coat was now white, but all grey and white horses had a base color. I didn't want to ask her how old she was, it wasn't polite. Maybe once we got to know each other, she would reveal it to me or I might ask her. It would depend on whether or not my curiosity got the best of me. The wind started blowing, I closed my blue orbs, letting the breeze run through my locks like fingers.
I grimaced, it felt awesome on this hot day. I opened my eyes, only too find the other two horses watching me. I chirped a small giggle, a sheepish grin falling upon me. I was a large mare in height, but I was made so small and delicate, it made me look so much smaller. Oh well, it fit my personallity. Small and delicate acting, childish in a way. But, I was still a child, or in my mind I was.
An earth bender, really? "That is cool. What can you do, being an Earth Bender?" I asked, my voice rolling out in large squeaks, in a bird voice. I had never met an Earth Bender or any horse being a bender. Interesting. I had already stated being an Air Bender but I didn't mind. "An Air Bender." I said proudly, raising my head, my voice was a bit more quiet and low. But, I still sung it. I gave a big grin as the mare said it was a pleasure to meet me. She was so open and welcoming.
I liked that about other horses.
It made me feel wanted.
I looked back at the mare, studying her arrows. They were cool, I wanted some of those. I flicked my silky, ivory tail across my small flanks. That was when I noticed something. Both the other mare and I were floating and so peppy, childish. But, the stallion moved with no grace at all and his color was a sturdy, solid. As well as his body and he reeked of dirt. "OH MY GOD! You are an Air Bender too aren't you?!" I shrieked in happiness, my excitement growing so large that I could hold it in. I gave a squeaky laugh.
No way.
No way.
This was awesome.
She was an Air Bender and she was a master. She could teach me. She had offered me a home and to be her student, I could start over, have a good life with people that I actually liked! "Yes!" I stated with happiness, my grin growing bigger and bigger. I looked back to the golden stallion and offered him a small, soft smile. Letting him know that he wasn't going to be left out.
