The largest region is the Earth Kingdoms, the smallest being the Air nomads.
The Air nomads are located in the South, West, North, and East. All named after their appropriate location.
Water Tribes are mainly located in the North and the South. However the Foggy Swamp Tribe is located in the southwest Earth kingdom. The Northern and the Southern Water tribes are cold, much like our Southern and Northern poles. The Foggy Swamp Tribe usually have warm tropical weathers.
The Earth Kingdoms, the most biggest one Ba Sing Se is in the northeast of the kingdoms. Omashu, the second largest, is located in the southwest. Kioshi Island is an island off the southern coast of the Earth Kingdom. Si Wong Desert, the largest desert in the Avatar world, is located in the middle of the Earth Kingdom.
Fire Nation Capital is the largest Fire Nation city. It is located in the western part of the largest island. Ember island is located on the outer islands. Sun Warrior Temple is located off the coast of the largest island. Avatar Roku's temple is located on a small island closest to the Earth Kingdom, it is very small.
