Brown eyes looked around the place. My breath steamed in front of me. What I would give to become a fire bender right now, or perhaps that sexy Fire Lord. A grin appeared on my lips. Or perhaps the Avatar, he could fire bend as well, and he was a very powerful figure head. Maybe so.
Whipcord flicked as I walked across the snowy area. I was fairly high up in the mountains making snow just natural here. And with my summer coat I was pretty chilled. But, I would never show that to anyone else. I was a strong mare and nothing could phase me.
Harks flicked around, no one was here. It was a good time to practise my Earth Bending, I wasn't very good. Just a beginner. I let out a breath as I stomped a couple times on the ground. Large rocks lifted out of the Earth and stood in the air, levitating. A snort came from my nares as I lifted my forelegs and pushed it forward.
The large boulder pushed down a tree, I was fairly proud of myself as I felt the earth tremble beneath me. I let out a satisfied nicker as I did some more.

Dark brown eyes peered around eagerly, I was new here, but I was already ready to explore. I shook my long, black tendrils, they slapped against my blood colored neck. So, it hadn't been long ago since I had figured out that I was a fire bender, it was also pretty easy to see. As I walked across the snow covered hilltop, the snow melted under my feet, turning into water. I didn't know how to control anything, everytime that I had been mad, my body heat would flame up.
I couldn't help it, my coat color was about the same color of flames. My mane and tail was pure as ebony silk. I stopped, my wide, elegant nares flaring, I tossed my head. Little pieces of hair falling out in front of my eyes. I was down on a lower level, I could see that, I looked up, chocolate, kind eyes peering at the mountaintop above me.
That was where I was headed.
I couldn't sense that anyone else was here, untill large boulders started crashing down the hill. One hit a tree and knocked it down, I tossed my torso darting to the side and letting out a loud bellow. Well, whoever was up there would hear that. I pinned my ears against my crown, they became lost in my thick forelock. I started to speed up from a walk to a running walk, my hooves grabbed at the snow that was melting beneath me and turning into mud. My heart thudded loudly in my chest, so loudly that I thought anyone else that was around, would hear it.
I flicked my long tail up against each of my thick, muscular flanks. It was only a second before I reached the top and looked around, there was a mare, darker in color than me. My ears flicked forward a bit and then flicked backwards. I cleared my throat.
Was she the horse that had pushed the boulders down? If so, she had skills.

Frost started to cover my slender yet muscular frame. I am an Earth bender, one of the Earth colonies. We were strong, our will was over flowing that it was so hard to break down. Hard as the rocks that we used to impale others. A grin flashed on my face, how I wanted to impale someone with a rock.
Harks flicked forward as I lifted another boulder, not as big as the last few, and threw it into the cliff side. I watched the smoke rise, the bits of dust and small pebble break off and roll down to my hooves. I stomped on them and broke them. Another Earth bending ability. Breaking rocks.
Breaking rocks was an ability like how fire benders could block other fire attack. Like they suck them up, it was interesting. I hadn't really seen the other two Nations do their stuff, I would have to go by the Southern Air temple one day to watch the Avatar show his stuff.
A sound had come and entered my hearing devices. Quickly I turned, raising some of the small rocks that I hadn't smashed as a defensive type thing. It was a stallion, and judging from the way the snow was melting around his hooves, he was a Fire bender. A grin came across my dark lips.
"Hello." I spoke with easy tones.

My dark brown eyes scanned over the bay femme, a bit of frost lingered at the edges of her thin hair. It was summer, but it felt like winter upon the top of this mountain. I eased my way to the side and looked down, my locks falling forward as I watched how steep the mountain started to get. That wasn't gonna be my way down, it wasn't so bad coming up the mountain but going back down was a different story. Good thing there was a small path making it's way down the evenest side of the mountain.
I sighed, watching pebbles and clumps of snow along with mud fall down the mountain. Just watching all that muck fall down the side of the hill, it struck fear to my very heart, that could be me if I wasn't careful.
But of course, I didn't show my fear.
I took a couple of steps backward and then danced my way back around in a circle, my slender neck arched slightly, I set my elegant head, eyes alert and watching her. My ears flicked back slightly, the snow started to stir around me, as soon is touched my coat, it was gone. I was hot, both inside and out. In a way, the water seemed to cool my body, it seemed through the epidermis layer and soothed my muscles. From the miles and miles of wandering, I felt relaxed.
The mare had finally realized that I was there. Needless to say, it was about time. I lifted my head, my tall, stocky body peered at her from behind my thick forelock. I flicked my tail, ice gathering at the end. My harks flicked forward as she talked to me in her female voice. How was it that females were so much beautifuler in every way than us males? That was a question I hoped to find the answer to in the near future.
"Hello, I am Charlie. What brings you to such a place?" I asked in my deep, yet slick tone. I snapped my mouth together softly, looking around, dipped ears flicked forward as I eased torwards her with light footsteps.

A breeze came by and made some of the snow fall from the trees. Chunks fell onto the ground, some of their flakes found themselves attaching onto me. I let my frame give a large shake it rid them. I didn't need them to melt on me and then potentially give me itchy rain rot, or melt on my back and then freeze giving me an icy appearance. I didn't live in some stupid water tribe. Not yet anyway.
Ebony banner flicked occasionally, no bugs up here, it was more for me testing out the rocks beneath me. I still wasn't very good at Earth bending, frankly if I did something wrong I could make the ground collapse around us. I was still unpredictable. But I always would be.
I watched the blood coloured brute with some interest. He was clearly a fire bender, one who might be in training or not. But he clearly needed some training. Perhaps a trip to the Fire Lord was needed? I do believe he is the only master around these days. Except for the Avatar, of course, but his strength was air bending. Hmm, our relationship will be spicy, considering Air and Earth are opposites.
He spoke his name and then questioned my being here. Didn't it seem obvious? Or did he not want to admit that he had been watching me? I kept the grin on my face and let him come to me. "Charlie." I greeted with a nod of my head.
"I am Annabelle of the Earth Kingdoms, and I have just been practising my Earth bending." I told him. I remember when I told those two stallions, Boss and Hero I think their names were, that I was from the most upper ring of Ba Sing Se. I bragged to them because they were in the most lower of classes. I didn't care though, I wanted everyone to believe that I was of high royalty, even though I was only the middle class if that.
"What brings you here at this altitude fire bender?" I asked.

So, I had to admit that I had been watching the mare. But, I really wasn't putting the clues together. Now that I thought about it, yeah she was an Earth Bender. Lucky dog, we both had powers that could put us both in danger. But, my powers were pretty dull right now, considering how damp and cold it was. Plus, I didn't know what in the hell I was doing, she could tick me off and I could set the woods on fire. Who really knew, it just came at us at full blast with no warning.
I flicked my tail, trying to flick the crystals of water and ice from my locks. I was curious, and that showed in my eyes, exactly, what else could this Earth Bender do? I had stopped but now I took one more step torwards her. I really wanted to try her, tick her off or something, just to see what would happen. But something kept telling me to keep my distance. So, I listened to the tiny, male voices in my head. I was loosing my mind.
My eyes wandered across her face, taking easy, slow steps, studying her every feature. She was thinking about something. But what? I didn't let the confused expression cross my face, just curiosity and my eyes pretty much shined with that. I gave a nod of my head, one solemn nod as she stated my name. My face was always lit up with some sort of expression, it wasn't untill I was curious or angry whenever it really shone, that was when my powers really, really kicked in.
You better watch out.
"I see, I see. Nice to meet you Annabelle, I guess. Considering, I guess it was you that almost hit me with a gigantic rock." I said, my voice growing a bit rough. My lips pressed into a strong, straight line. Eyes becoming a bit dull as I took in my atmosphere. I strong wind came, I turned my head, blocking the snow from my eyes. Damnit. What brung me here...
Really, why was I here?
I didn't know...
"Doing a bit of exploring, seeing how my powers are affected in different atmospheres." I said, winging it. That was the best I could do, right off the top of my head.

I moved where I stood, the snow sticking the bottom of my hooves in an annoying way, I stomped each one, feeling the whole ground shake with each pound. I liked that feeling, the feeling that I could cause the whole world to split in two if I wanted to.
But of course I wasn't that powerful, to break the Earth in two. But That would be pretty neat if I could, I be would very dangerous. But then the Earth would be destroyed and I would be no better than the Fire Nation when they tried to wipe every other bending race out.
I sighed, looking at the bay brute as he spoke to me. A grin flashed on my face. "Well, if I can do a day with killing someone, then I will be happy. Why not attempt at happiness?" I mused as I took another look around the winter like place. I heard most of the water tribes were like this, cold. the only one that wasn't was the Swamp people. And I am not a hillbilly swamp horse. But if I do get a chance at being a great, then I guess I will have a furry winter coat.
His excuse for being here seemed valid. I guess a fire bender would want to test out different climates. "That is plausible." I stated to him. "So, how much do you know?" I asked.

My eyes wandered to her hooves as she moved and stamped around, trying to rid the snow that now stuck to the bottom of her hooves. Well, if that was me I wouldn't be having that problem. But snow was better than ice, that was for sure. I continued flicked my tails, scattering droplets of ice and water on my back and stomach. Then, of course, the ice turned into water and ran down my sides, causing me to shiver gently.
Lips parting as a bit of warm air blew from my mouth. Nostrils flaring and I bobbed my head, shaking my mane, the cool tendrils slapping against each side of my neck. Then she stamped, causing me to snap out of my daydreaming and look at the mare. She had caused the ground to tremble a bit, which shocked me.
Could earth benders really do that?
If they could, that was actually, really cool, as much as I hated to admit it.
My eyes flashed to the grin on her face as she talked, hmmm, killing someone? Cruel, but now I could see into her head a bit easier. I rolled my shoulders in a horse type shrug, then smiled a bit too, harks flicking forward as I started to talk. "I guess, but horses have a different style of happiness." It was the truth, killing another could make her happy, but I would see killing as a revenge and torture as a punishment. That was what I saw, it depended on how she saw that.
We had different point of views, but we were still alike in many ways. I felt that was had alot in common anyways, I wasn't sure though, something was just shouting that were close to the same. Ha, so my credit card had been valid, she actually accepted my lame excuse and passed it as plausible. "Not much, but I am willing to learn. How about you?" I asked, becoming lost in thought of the conversation. I really, really hoped to learn from Zuko. I could become powerful.
Power was what I craved, I was power hungry.
