Well, I wrote this on my dA and I know not everyone has it, so I just wanted you're opinions on this one... It took me a while, and I felt bad for Seven....
Lightly I trotted through the feilds, the sun was beating down on my back. Though the heat was a normal thing, being a fire bender, I always had to deal with the pressure of warmth. It was in a way, soothing. It took my mind off of the thought that my father had banished me from going home, now that is a long story...
As I continued moving forward, I heard hooves rustling around me, which I found quiet amusing. Though as I whipped my head around to look at my 'stalkers' there wasn't a soul in sight. I let my ears lie flat and I tensed up, ready to burn the face off of any who dared fight me. Though that's when I heard a voice
"WOAH! No need to get all touchy, were just curious." It said, a little bit of worry in its voice.
"Yea, cool it down a smudge!" Another, much deeper voice replied.
"Okay, I wont attack. But may I see whom I am speaking to, or will you wish to keep a lady waiting?" I asked, a hint of amusement in me tone, just hearing them speak made me want to laugh.
"What do you think Barak?" The deeper voice whinnied.
"SHUT UP! See what you did, you just gave her my name Zane!" The one so called Barak replied.
"Well you did too!"
"Did not!"
I rolled my eyes, though inside I was about to burst out with laughter. Why had these two made me happy, why did I feel so much different, though I still didn't see them, their voices made me feel comfortable and safe. Though it pained me to think that I would have to leave their voices behind... I felt so strange...
"Boy's! I think you should show me who you are." I whinnied, breaking their conversation in half "Just so I dont look crazy to passer-by's."
The two seemed to think for a moment until Barak spoke "Good point."
Then the two walked out of the brush, one was rather large and muscular. His pelt was a dark grey and his eyes were an ocean blue, the second one that popped out, was a smaller stallion. Most likely an Air Nomad by his build, though his pelt threw me off. He was a light tan color, it almost mashed the color of my hair. But his eyes were the purest blue, I almost seemed to be lost inside his gaze.
"Well, what did I tell ya Zane. We found a Fire Bender." Barak whinnied, his tan coat glimmering
"I thought that tattoo was a water drop..." Zane said quietly, and thats when I spoke
"Um, Hi. I'm Seven, and how in the world could you misplace my fire tattoo for a drop of water?" I asked, just placing myself in the conversation.
"Yea, how do you replace a large red thing with a blue thing?" Barak snorted, though he didn't say it offensively, that came as strange to me.
"Like how you can replace a Moose-lion with a Leamer bat!" Zane laughed, his banner swaying.
That's when we all burst into laughter, I had never laughed like this in my life. It was a whole new feeling, it made me feel warm, and happy.
I soon spent the night with the two stallions, and I came to learn that Zane was a run away water-bender, Barak was a run away Air nomad, and I finally had friends. Though the night turned to days, those days turned to weeks, weeks to months, then it turned into 2 years that I had spent with those goofy stallions. Though I never lost my cold nature, my mind whirled with hatred right when Zane and Barak would go away to sleep or go to town. I new I couldnt be carefree like they were, though I had told them everything about me. They trusted and cared for me, I was even carrying Baraks foal, though thats when things went horribly wrong...
When Barak, Zane, and I were walking along, me and Barak giving each other loving glances every once in a while, and Zane cracking random jokes. Baraks ears shot up as we heard the yelling of angry horses, quickly Barak looked to Zane and whispered something, I knew it wasn't good because Zane looked to my mate sadly before nodding.
"Whats going-" I started to say
"Were leaving, come on Seven." Zane whinnied, pushing me with his head.
"But, Barak!" I cried as the tan stallion that stole my heart ran toward the hoard of what I know recognized to be Fire Bending Soldiers.
"Come on!" Zane urged, and finally he got me to run, I ran with all my strength.
I turned to look behind me after I had ran for a while, all I could see was fire. Neither Zane nor Barak were anywhere in sight, my heart seemed to stop as the flames burst in half, then quickly closed. That must have been Barak, and by the looks of things, he wasn't returning. My eyes widened as I fell to my knees, though there were three reasons why that had happened. 1 I was exhausted, 2 I was giving birth, and 3 I was heart broken.
I must have passed out, because I dont remember anything else from that night. I only remember waking up to the smell of smoke, and a new life pressed against my side. I watched in sadness as her lungs heaved for air, she had inhaled to much smoke, and I knew that she didnt have long.
"Hush little one..." I whispered, on the break of tears "Little Luna.... Little Luna...." I said quietly, tears now streaming down the side of my face as she looked up to me. Her eyes were just like her fathers, bright blue. Though her coat was brown and white, her face was tired and so young. I nearly died as she slowly lowered her head, and her body was still...
After all that chaos I chose not to trust anyone, no one but myself. I never got close to another stallion, nor did I make any friends. But I did miss the feeling I got when I looked into Luna's small eyes, they were like looking into Baraks again.... Why did they have to go?
(BTW Luna isnt dead <.< >.> )
