The large chestnut stallion moved across the lands, he finally had left his temple to explore the other temples and met any other leaders. He was also looking for someone to call his own. Dusk had just set in across the lands, his ashen hooves pounded the ground as his pillars contracted under him and then stretched outward to eat up more ground. Compared to most he was quite tall he couldn’t help it that he took his father’s height and the color and gentle personality of his mother. Snorting his flaxen tresses dancing on the wind, he slowed to a very rough trot and then finally a walk, he didn’t stay long at one of the temples as no one was there so he continued on and ended up at the western air temple. He knew this was for females only but he had picked up a scent of a female and he couldn’t help himself. A friendly gentle call left him as he looked about and waited for the female leader to appear.

Eyes closed as I took in a deep breath. Flicks of my hock kisser, and paws of my hooves whisked up wind and other various breezes to pick up rubble that was littered over my land. The floor where I was standing was cracked very badly and there was rocks and other rubble everywhere. I was just doing some light house cleaning, there wasn't much else for me to do. It wasn't like I was teaching anyone or anything. There was a small pile that I was starting to pile up the garbage. What I had picked up I tossed over there.
Eyes opened as I walked into the covered area of my Temple. Whenever I breathed there was the faint smell of smoke and fire. It was unlikely that the genocide smell was still here. This smelt more recent anyway, like it happened in just past few months. But I couldn't be sure, I was still in hiding a couple months ago.
Hooves clipped clopped over the hard concrete floor. Dainty frame glided across the floor with my easy steps. Straight tail strands tossed back and forth, wide nostrils flaring as I took in the many scents that were still here. Horses had been here, an air bender as well. But from the smell of it it was the young air bending Avatar who had been here. Perhaps days before he defeated the old Fire Lord? I wouldn't know, as I wasn't here.
Hark flicked backward as I heard a gentle call echo across my Temple. Dished facade looked in the direction of the call and I spotted a chestnut figure not to far away. Even from where I was standing I could see that he was a large horse.
As the air shifted I could smell that he was a pure air bender. He didn't have the smell of water, fire, or earth on him. And I could see his tattoos from where I was standing. I started to grow excited. Was there more air benders than just me and the avatar? The corners of my lips lifted as I excitedly jumped into the air and air balled myself toward him.
I landed meters away from him. A shy smile on my face as my dark lips parted. "Hello."

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, he could almost still smell the faint smell of fire, he had been in hiding for some time, and that smell smelt like it could have happened a couple months ago. He shook his head and opened his eyes and looked out across the temples lands, it was warm, closer to the fire kingdom , his temple being further it was colder, so he had a bit of a shaggy coat going on, it wasn’t long just there. He shook his head and saw a lovely mare come down and he smiled. Hello fine lady I am Joker Lead Monk of the Northern Air temple. He couldn’t help but notice she was a little shy and he couldn’t also help but notice she was beautiful. He smiled and lowered his crown a little feeling a little over barring, lovely temple you have, I had decided to explore and see if there was any one else and what do you know I stumbled upon a beautiful lady whom I hope I have the pleasure of learning her name? He smiled again and looked at her waiting for her to speak.

I stood still, all flints steady on the dirt floor before them. Straight cords flicked back and forth against my flanks to shoo away the bugs that were attracted to my scent, fair flesh, and white colour. I could create a wind current around me to keep them away, but it was nice to make my tail work once and a while. And when I got tired of doing that I could shoo them away with my bending. But I might be back in my temple by the time that comes. And then I can just blow the insects out of my house and sleep in a nice insect free room. I would like that.
As I was studying the chestnut stallion before me I noted a few things. His coat was shaggier than mine, so he must be in the North somewhere. But of course I was the closest temple to the Fire Nation, and their climate is always warm. This place took after that. He introduced himself as Joker of the Northern Air Temple. So he was from up north. I wonder if he takes after his name as a joker. "It is a pleasure to meet you Joker of the Northern Air Temple." I greeted him.
At his next words I gave away a giant smile. I looked away for a brief moment and then looked back at him to return his gaze. "Thank you." I said, "I am Vinho Verde, of the Western Air Temple. I haven't seen any other Air benders around. I recently went to go and see the Avatar. Let him know that there is at least one other Air Bender around to support him. I think he will be happy to know that there is more."

He nodded, it’s a pleasure to meet you Vinho Verde such a beautiful and powerful name, yes I haven’t seen many air benders around except you and I think he will be happy to know there is another air bender. He smiled and flicked his banner across his flanks, oh just as a little side note I don’t live up to my name, im quite a fail at being a jokester unlike my now dead brother he had a way with messing with others and well that ended up getting him killed. He winced and turned and nipped at his shoulder, something had just bit him and he didn’t like it, snorting and looking at the beautiful Vinho Verde before him, I think personally my parents mixed up our names but they always told me they had not. He shook his crown and a little chuckle left him as he sigh and cocked a hoof relaxing more and more around her, not that he wasn’t already a relaxed being, he was often times caught laying down and dozing or dozing and being scared by someone looking for some training. He couldn’t help it, it wasn’t he was lazy he just had nothing better going for him in life at the moment. He was as peaceful as one came, he had always been a quiet observant foal and had advanced fast through his training by an old jet black paint, he would go see the old man even when he was done training, just to improve on the skills he had already learned and it was with that old horse he learned patients and learned to not rush something and not to push any one, you take it one step at a time and start from the ground up. The trainee may wonder what on earth you are doing but they will begin to understand. He shook his crown, sorry I zoned out there for a moment. He chuckled and the set his liquid brown orbs back on her and waited.

Harks flicked back and forth, wide nostrils flared as I took in his masculine scent. I listened to his words as he spoke, and as he did so I took careful steps forward. I supplied him with a smile and a nod as my dainty legs made way toward him. I stopped, however, a few feet away. Good breathing room, but I could see the strands of his flaxen mane easily now. He was in fact very tall. Way taller than me, and I found myself tilting my head upwards to look at him.
I listened to him explain his name and how in fact that he wasn't the Joker that his name called him. He said that his brother was no longer around and I noticed that he seemed sad after that. I wanted to go over to him, make sure he was ok. But I didn't think that I should. I barely knew him, he might think that I am strange if I did so. As he chuckled at his next words I let a giggle go.
He apologized later for zoning out. I nodded, but then soon realized that I had been quite the non speaker as well. Dark eyes looked up at him, I really didn't know what to say. "Did you want to look around in my Temple? I haven't really explored it yet." I asked him.

He grinned and watched her has she moved closer to him, she had to look up in order to see his face because he was such a tall being. He closed the space between them and lowered his crown, taking in her features and smell as he reached outward and nuzzled her cheek, he pulled away and raised his crown, what kind of a stallion would I be to turn down a beautiful ladys offer? He spoke and smiled he couldn’t help but touch her again, he liked it, it was a different feeling then he had ever had before. He placed small nips upon her cheek and nape, he jerked away. Im sorry I don’t know what overcame me. He spoke taking a small bow as his banner flicked back and forth against his flanks, he backed and put the same amount of space that had been between them when she had first come into his presence. He lowered his crown so she didn’t nearly need to look up as much and he looked at her, lead the way beautiful lady. He spoke and waited for her to lead them on their adventure of sorts but at the same time he was worried she would take back the offer and kick him out of her lands.

Audits were erect in the a forward motion as I listened to his words. A grin was plastered on my face, I couldn't erase it no matter how hard I tried. Eyes followed the chestnut stud as he came closer to me. I could feel my heart start to race and pound against my chest. I could feel my breathing hike up as he touched my cheek, my nape. My eyes closed as I took in his scent, and just as I was about to touch my own dark lips to his nape he pulled away. Feeling a bit rejected, but not rejected. I was shocked mostly. My eyes were revealed again as I stared at his retreating frame.
"Oh, no, it is fine." I stuttered, looking at the ground and then turning around to head back toward the Temple. "It's faster if we just air ball there." As I said that, I took a few trots forward and then hopped into the air. Mane and forelock blew in the air and flapped against my nape.
Soon I landed onto the nearly crumbling entrance. I took in a deep breath, throwing my head up to get my forelock out of my eyes. I turned around to wait for the stag to follow. "This is the entrance area. I need to repair it, just slowly though. It's not a right away thing." I said to him in an absent minded kind of way.

He felt as though now he had done something wrong and maybe made her feel a little rejected, he would tell her and show her how he felt when they reached her temple. He nodded looking up and followed her, his short forelock taken back with his tresses and banner. As he landed he took a jogging step forward and put himself next to her as she spoke, he nodded, yes it does need a little TLC but it doesn’t look to be one of those important things. He smiled and moved forward and in front of her just to stop her so he could say what he wanted and get it off his chest and see if she happened to feel the same way. I need to get this off my chest, I like you more than a friend I think I might even love you, im sorry I pulled away I just didn’t know if that was how you felt or if that was what you wanted, after seeing the hurt in your orbs I decided I wanted to tell you this when we got up here. He stepped forward and wrapped his nape around hers, his lips placing tiny nibbles upon her cheek and hark, he stopped and pricked his harks forward and then back and then to the side making sure there wasn’t anything coming to harm her but all he had heard was some rocks falling. His chest rose and fell steadily against her frame as he held her there not ready to let go at the moment and continue on with their tour.

Twin pools still stared at the damaged pillars and surrounding area. I still wondered what had happened here, though it wasn't that important now because it was done and over with. Just mindless curiosity plagued my mind. Alabaster pelt, though hard to see, was shiny. Showing my health along with my bright dark eyes and flowing mane and tail.
The corners of my kissers were slightly turned upwards. And with a small flick of my plumage I took a step forward. But he soon began to speak again. Piston movements stopped as I turned my elegant serpentine to peer at his large crimson frame. I smiled at his words and gave him a nod, no this wasn't one of the most important things to an Air bender right now. The most important thing was to get the race alive again. These temples need to flourish with colts and fillies, as well as the mares and stallions. Of course the temples were gender specific, but I am sure that we can make something were once a year would be mating season. And of course visiting hours were always open.
Dished facade faced forward again as I took another few steps toward the inside of the temple. We would have to walk up a flight of stairs to do so. But before I could get in a few strides of my one-beat pace, he was in front of me. Blocking my way. All I could see was him, he was so much taller than I was. I backed up a few paces, harks flicking back and forth as his scent collided into my nasal passages. I waited for him to explain himself, to explain this odd behaviour.
His mouth was suddenly moving. Words cascaded out of his mouth and into my hearing devices. I knew it, but I was so shocked by what he had said I was afraid that I looked incoherent. My eyes were wide, jaw slightly unhinged and twins perked right forward on my poll. I didn't know this stallion very well, only had just met him. Should I tell him this? Would he be said? I did have some feelings toward him, I found him attractive. Him and I would have strong foals one day. But I wasn't no fortune teller.
Soon I felt his muscular serpentine wrap around my own. I could feel his lips and ivories against my ears and my cheek. When he was done he just stood there. Perhaps not wanting to move away from me as he had done before. I stood there for awhile as well, my mug now shut and I was finally taking blinks to get moisture to my dry eyes. When my brain suddenly became aware of my surroundings I took a step sideways and then backward so that I could look up at the sorrel sovereign. I cleared my throat, not really knowing what I could say to him. Or even what to say to him.
"I-I." I stopped myself so that I could regain some ground on my words. "I really like you to. But we have only just met, Joker. You only know some of my qualities. I have many more, both good and bad." I said to him calmly. I gave him a crooked smile before dashing off to the side and cantering up the stairs. When I was up them I turned back to him, head held high in the air. "I betcha can't catch me." I teased before I flicked my tail into a flag and bounced off.

He nodded and shut his orbs for a moment enjoying the closeness before she went off and cantered up the stairs. He opened his orbs and snorted bobbing his crown, I bet I can. He cantered off after her taking the stairs, he followed her scent and soon was right behind her, his long legs carried him closer and closer till he nipped the top of her rump gently, caught you dear. He spoke turning around and heading back, he took his turns with precision and bam! He stumbled backwards and shook his crown, looking at what he had just hit. He snorted and smiled sheepishly as he felt slightly embarrassed for running into a wall. Which was really only a tiny bit over from where the archway was, he couldn’t believe that he had done such a thing. He picked up a canter again and started up again heading back to the center of the temple and going off the other way. This place was magnificent, he stopped when he reached a large room, this would be a perfect place to rest your head at night he spoke to her hoping she was close enough to hear. He shook his crown and turned around waiting.

A grin was plastered all over my mug. Large onyx eyes were bright with excitement because of this game. I think it is natural that air benders like to have fun, we just have so much energy. But in the mixed of all of that excitement I felt a nip on my rump. A touch to indicate that I was it for this game of chase/tag. I let out a little squeal and quickly turned around. Harks flicked forward, he wasn't here. I closed my eyes and lifted my nose into the air to smell him. I had gotten a scent and turned my dished dial in his direction. I saw as he crashed into a wall. I let out a giggle before I hopped off the top of the stairs and used my air bending to jump down and speed gallop to him.
As he was staring at something, I parted my lips, then opened my mouth. Revealing my pearly whites and snapping at his shoulder. Sometimes I cheated at games, mostly because I am not very good at them, and because I felt like it. I also didn't have much sense in how much a bite could hurt another. But I didn't know if I bit him or not, my mind was else ware by the time it had happened.
His words brought me to look at where he was looking. I walked up and straightened myself to stand beside him, and I nodded. "This is a nice place." I said before giving a flick of my tail. "But for now, you are it." I teased before I bounced a couple of times, flagged my whipcord and speed galloped a few flights of stairs.
