She was a whole six weeks! She had been living among the royal fire mare and stallion, whom she avoided. The filly even young was a site to behold, her pelt was spotless and such a pretty color, her tail had started to grow back. It was currently dusk the sky painted many colors, like pinks, oranges and reds just to name a few. She stood perfectly still in the center of the pasture, her frame not moving except for the rise and fall of her barrel, she sighed and turned picking up a jog and headed for her room, she was tired and had learned that things came out at night, scary things. She skidded in and slowed to walk, curling up in the center and falling asleep. She had been asleep for some time before she heard a noise, it startled her awake and she blinked a couple of times, thinking she saw something black move across her room, she screamed and stood quickly and backed into a corner and shook her crown, closing her orbs tight and waiting for the horrid monster to eat her.

A frightened squeal sounded through the corridor entering idle twins. They perked blue eyes shooting open. She sighed looking over at her mate she reached over to nuzzle him before struggling to get on her feet. She was getting tired of having to wake up for Kenna although she couldnt blame it on the filly. She was sure that she had been very restless for the first few months of her life. She blinked lazily spying around the room before looking back to Zuko. "Zuko." she whispered. She knew he might end up getting irritated by her waking him up. She waited a moment before making her way lightly to the door.

"I used to think this scar marked me; the mark of the banished prince, cursed to chase the Avatar forever. But lately, I've realized I'm free to determine my own destiny, even if I'll never be free of my mark."
My head rested on a soft pillow while the rest of my body was curled on the hard ground. I didn't require a bed, but a pillow was nice from time to time. Especially when I got the head aches that I did, and I was getting more and more lately. Sleep was hard to get these days after Katara took in that little filly. I didn't agree so much, in fact I was irate about it. But I allowed her nonetheless. My dream tonight was simple, running in a field of grass. It was such a simple dream that I wasn't even putting it on fire. Sometimes the dreams would get so vivid that I would end up putting my sleeping area on fire. But I hadn't done that in a little while.
I was about to make a corner, jump over a fallen tree, and then gallop back to the Palace when a scream from the next room stirred me. And it all erased. Harks fell back as I gritted my jaw, I forced my eyes closed pretending that I didn't hear that horrid sound. But when I felt my mate move I sighed. I still lay but when she whispered my name I opened my eye and looked up at her. She was already walking out. Another loud sigh came from my chest as I unfolded my legs and got myself up. I cursed under my breath, nothing that no one would hear, and I made my way to McKenna's room.
Hooves felt heavy against the hard ground. Their noise echoed down the grand hallways. I turned into the bedroom, my sleepy eyes falling on the filly who was in the corner, her eyes squeezed shut and then onto Katara.

She peeked her orb open and saw them standing in the doorway, uh oh. She slunk back to the center of room and laid down, she hated waking them especially him. She turned away from them and waited until they left, when they finally did, she quietly left the place and went down to the meadow, there was just something about it that comforted her, she sighed and stood stock still closing her orbs, harks flicking back and forth to catch the nighttime sounds, a deep sigh left her. She opened her orbs and trotted out, banner waving behind her. She could feel the tickle of each blade of grass as she stopped again, standing the she could feel something coming alive deep within her, she closed her orbs and raised a hoof, pounding it into the ground and pulling back, when she opened her eyes, she saw a flame dancing around her and starting to lick further pieces of grass, she squealed and focused on putting out the flames but she just couldn’t seem to do it, she reared which only made the flames go higher or so it seemed. She was in big trouble now!
