A rough start

Dark frame stood still in the stallion's home. There weren't many bugs in here so I just occasionally flicked my whipcord. A hark flicked toward the dark stag as he spoke. Well, I wasn't going to ask about going to see his quarters. I went down to my parents quarters once. Never will I do that again.

"This is an interesting place, thank you for showing me. Is Hero's home much different than this?" I asked. Where I live the homes come in a variety of styles. Of course it is more wealthier there and not as many horses there to destroy anything and take up the room that was available. That is how I liked it away.

I could show him my home, but I want these two to be under the impression that I live in the upper ring, close to the Kingdom. A silent sigh blew past my nares as I turned my frame around. "You could always ask the Fire Lord if you want anything changed, or for maybe a more effective choice. The Avatar." The idea just donned on me. The Avatar's mate had gotten rid of him for the Fire Lord. If I can't get the Fire Lord, why not try someone that is even more powerful.

His ebony head bent low for a moment, he was trying to remember the young stallions home. Though truthfully, he never went inside it... Maybe he should let him have a day off, he was workin him round the clock lately. He deserved it...

Yes, his home is very different from this.

His banner was stationary as the fea spoke again, she was clever and cunning. His eyes flickered for a moment of what could happen if he asked the Avatar. Though he would have no idea what to say, maybe Annabelle would help him find something to say.

I took another look around the house before I turned around. Lips parted, "I have seen enough of this place, we can get out now." I said as I walked myself out, blinking as the sun hit my eyes. My thick whipcord tossed back and forth, the green bands in it holding together in a firm grip despite the force that I put into my swishing.

Boss stated that Hero's home was different. Normally I would say lets go and take a look, but I got the feeling that Hero didn't like me very much. "Lets go look at Hero's house then." I said as I looked left and right. Of course I wanted to look at the stags house, I was naturally curious. And those who didn't like my presence just made me want to annoy them even more.

I chewed on my teeth, grinding them together I guess. Habit I guess. Dark eyes glanced around, but nothing interesting caught my eyes. But what I heard caught my ears. I turned in Boss's direction and parted my lips. Well good, I will go with you. It won't be fair for me to leave you alone in case something happens. And every male needs a strong female presence to keep things sane." I replied matter-of-factly to him. "Invite Hero if you want, who knows maybe he wants something better as well." I said as I started walking in the direction where I thought the Southern Air Temple would be.
